Instructions for candidates

HOW TO REGISTER

STEP 1 – ACCESS

The details the new candidate will have to enter are:

  • National ID Card No.: To register, the candidate’s National ID Card No. shall have to be entered as ID.
  • Password: Password desired to gain access. This can be changed later on. For security reasons, it must contain at least 4 digits.
  • E-mail: E-mail address to which the job offers that match your professional profile the most will be sent. This e-mail address can also be changed later on.

STEP 2 – AUTOMATIC RECEIPT OF OFFERS

The candidate must fill in the following fields:

  • Frequency: Frequency with which you will receive offers that match your professional profile the most. Frequency parameters shall either be daily or weekly.
  • Category: Vocational category for which you would like to receive job offers. This will include the main vocational categories existing at present. It will be possible to select up to 5 vocational categories.
  • Country: Country selected as the location of each job offer.
  • Province: Province selected as the location of each job offer.

STEP 3 – PRIVACY/SECURITYPASO

The candidate must fill in the following fields:

  • Privacy level of the CV: Type of privacy you would like for your CV and for your personal details. You will have to choose one of 3 levels:
    • Maximum: Only companies whose offers I have applied to shall have access to my CV and be able to see all of my contact details. No companies shall see my CV if I do not apply to their offer.
    • High: Companies whose offers I apply to will see all of my contact details. My CV can also be viewed by companies that have access to the database and actively search for their candidates.
    • Normal: All of my details (first name and surnames, telephone number and e-mail address) shall be visible to companies, whether I apply to their offers or if they view my CV.
  • Information that is visible on your CV when browsing the database:
    • Show first name and surnames.
    • Show your telephone number(s).
    • Show your e-mail address.
  • Contact details: Such as first name, surname 1, surname 2, telephone number 1, telephone number 2, work telephone number, URL, additional details/notes.
  • Location: You will enter your location details – country, postcode, province, town and address.
  • Other details: Additional details such as date of birth, driving license, own vehicle, self-employed or freelance, nationality, work permit and place of issue of such.
  • Remuneration: The candidate’s minimum and desired remuneration.
  • Your CV: CV insertion field. It can be submitted in 3 different ways:
    • By writing the CV in text format.
    • By pasting text from Word (using CTRL.+C to copy and CTRL.+V to paste).
    • Using the pre-defined template following the format of a CV. This template will show you the main points to include in a CV so that the candidate can complete all of the sections.

In any of the three cases, the candidates will be reminded to delete the details they would like to hide, particularly personal or contact details.

STEP 4 – PROFESSIONAL PROFILES

The candidate must fill in the following fields:

  • Professional profile: You will enter your preferred position, and the professional profiles that most match your candidacy (up to a maximum of 5).
  • Education: You will enter the level(s) of qualifications you hold and state whether you have completed any Master’s courses (maximum of 3).
  • Languages: Languages you know, and your oral and written level in each language (maximum of 3).
  • Computing and technical skills/knowledge (maximum of 9).
  • NON-computing and technical skills/knowledge (maximum of 9).
  • Employment: You will respond to questions for example, regarding number of years of experience and how you found your last job.
  • Current job (if applicable): You will enter the company name, the position, date employment began, and your duties.
  • Future job: You will be asked questions regarding, for example, if you want to change jobs, why, with what objectives, what type of job you would like to have, with what timetable, whether you are willing to move elsewhere and travel, and whether you have a preferred location.

All of the aforementioned details can be changed from the private user menu.

Once registered as a candidate to receive job offers via the job board of the Cámara de Contratistas de Castilla y León, candidates will be ready to receive by e-mail the offers that match the professional profile they included on their CV. The e-mail will detail the company that has submitted the offer (so long as it has not hidden its identity), the position or vacancy to be filled, and a website address to access all of the specific details of the offer.

If the summary of the offer received by e-mail is of interest to the candidate, clicking on the website address will reveal the offer in full:

  • General details: date of the offer and company name. There will also be a button to expand the information about the company where it will have entered the fields regarding the number of employees, URL, location of the head office, and description and philosophy of the company.
  • Location: town, province and country of the offer.
  • Description: vacancy, category, number of vacancies, and description of the offer.
  • Requirements: minimum experience, essential place of residence, minimum and desired requirements.
  • Salary: minimum and maximum salary offered for the job.
  • Contract: type of contract and shifts.

In addition to the information regarding the offer, it will also show the number of people who have applied to the offer.
